PINK FLOYD has been experiencing a boom in the 50th anniversary of Hakone Aphrodite, both official and unofficial. A new upgrade master has been discovered that allows you to enjoy 1971 even more deeply. [The first Southern Hemisphere show that was realized immediately after the first visit to Japan] This work is infused into this work immediately after the legendary first visit to Japan was realized. This is an audience recording of “August 13, 1971 Melbourne Performance”. In the current music industry, it is common sense to think of Japan and Oceania as a set, but even in 1971, before this common sense was established, the geography of the earth was the same. At the same time as PINK FLOYD planned their first visit to Japan, they also landed on the Australian continent for the first time. Moreover, this time was also the only Southern Hemisphere performance during Roger Waters tenure. To give you an idea of the situation, let’s take a look at PINK FLOYD’s “Japan & Oceania” performance. 1971: Atomic Heart Mother Tour – August 6th – 9th: Japan #1 (3 performances) – August 13th + 15th: Australia #1 (2 performances) Here 1972: Madness Tour – March 6th – 13th: Japan #2 (6 performances) 1988: Utsu Tour – January 22nd: New Zealand (1 performance) – January 27th – February 24th: Australia #2 (21 performances) – March 2nd – 11th: Japan #3 (8 performances) In total, 41 performances. Aside from the 1988 depression tour which made up the majority of the tour, he visited Japan twice in the 1970s, but only had two performances in Oceania in 1971. There was also a European/North American tour in 1971, but there was a gap of more than a month before and after Japan + Australia. In other words, Australia was always a set with Japanese performances. The Melbourne performance of this work is the first day of such “Australia #1″. This is PINK FLOYD’s first stage beyond the equator. [New excavation master that updates the highest peak sound] If you have been paying attention to this article, you may know that this show is not only historic, but has also been known for a long time because of the great recordings left behind. In addition, our gift album “PLANETS MEETING DOWN UNDER” has been well received at our store. This work is an upgraded version of that traditional recording. It is not an improvement due to processing such as remastering, but a new master that was recently discovered and enthusiasts around the world are excited to say “Best update!”. In fact, this work is undoubtedly the best ever. The recording itself is the same as before, so it is the same that Mystery is cut out in less than 6 minutes, but the sound that runs through the entire volume is completely different. The master this time is a transfer by the familiar neonknight, the 2nd generation copied from “karmamania’s 1st generation”. The outline is much more vivid than the previous version, the sound is clearer, and the dynamism has also improved. The core, which is already strong, has a rushing force that pushes it forward, and it feels like the recording position is about 10 meters in front of you. At this point, some of you may be thinking, “Huh? 2nd Janet?” Yes, the best master of the Melbourne performance so far has been digitized directly from “karmamania’s 1st generation”. Our store’s “PLANETS MEETING DOWN UNDER” was also the 1st generation. On the other hand, this work should be one generation lower, but the actual sound of this work is better. I’m just guessing from this, but the reason why the hiss hasn’t increased even though the gene is high is probably because metal cassettes were used. Those who are familiar with vintage recording will have experienced this, but the ability to preserve sound is not determined by the generator alone. Many factors such as the dubbing route, the tape used, the storage conditions, and the transfer environment all come together to convey the sound. Of course, in the majority of cases, Gene has a big influence, but this Melbourne recording is an exception. And, because it is an exception, enthusiasts all over the world are surprised by the sound that has come out. In any case, the historical show that updated the highest peak is truly wonderful. Perhaps because it was the first day in the country for the first time, the ensemble was a little stiff, and Rick made mistakes during “Atomic Heart Mother” and “Echoes,” so it couldn’t be said to be perfect. However, this is precisely why it brings out the flamboyance of recovering from a mistake, and the vivid change from stillness to movement in “Eugene, Beware of the Ax” is truly wonderful. Above all, what makes this show special is Green is the Color. Following Japan, it was also played in Melbourne, but this was the last time this song was confirmed. You can enjoy that historic last performance with the highest update quality. The myths of Hakone have captivated people for more than half a century. However, there was a “continuation” to that miracle. Even in Oceania, which has always been a set with performances in Japan, it is a live album that allows you to enjoy the historic first day with the best sound. Now that Hakone is in the spotlight, the new excavation master is the perfect way to take it one step further. The first Australian performance was held immediately after the legendary first visit to Japan. This is an audience recording of “August 13, 1971 Melbourne Performance”. This is an upgraded version of the traditional recording that has been known for a long time, and is the latest master digitized from the 2nd generation metal cassette. The outline is much more vivid than the previous version, the sound comes through better, and the dynamism has also improved. The core, which is already strong, has the power to push forward, and it feels like the recording position is about 10 meters in front of you. The show is reminiscent of the first visit to Japan, and Green Is The Colour, which was the last on this day, is also historic. The myth of Hakone has been captivating people for over half a century, and this is a live album of the highest quality ever, which serves as a “sequel” to it.
