No Use for a Name is a melodic punk band from San Jose,California blending blistering skate-punk speeds with deeplymelancholic, unforgettable pop melodies. What began as a scrappylate-80s hardcore act grew into a defining pillar of the 90s punkrock explosion, earning fans through relentless international touringand releases that perfectly balance grit and heart.Drawing comparisons to Lagwagon, Millencolin, and Strung Out,NUFAN pairs introspective, emotionally raw lyrics with fast-paced,harmony-driven arrangements built for sweaty club shows andmassive circle pits. Their songs tackle alienation, brokenrelationships, and the struggles of everyday life, creating aconnection that feels both intensely personal and universallycathartic. With their album ‘Making Friends,’ the band continues tobuild on that momentum, delivering their tightest, most emotionallyresonant, and career-defining collection of songs to date.
