A complete recording of the 3 concerts in America under a solo name, held for the first time in 3 months after the German performance in June, and the Phoenix performance on September 14th, which was held the week before last, in a very clear and realistic stereo audience recording. This is what I did. The master was uploaded online and was recorded in the 15th row from the front on the left side of the arena seats facing the stage. Because it was in a very good position, there was a stereo spread, and the band sound was clearly captured. According to the recorder, the echoes were strong because the set of speakers suspended from the arena ceiling was rather small, but this hall noise was alleviated through unique mastering, making the sound clearer. . Therefore, the musical tone is much more core than that heard over the internet. Here’s a look at Clapton’s performance schedule for September: September 11th Chase Center, San Francisco, California September 13th T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, Nevada September 14th Talking Stick Resort Arena, Phoenix, Arizona September 20th American Airlines Center, Dallas, Texas September 21st American Airlines Center, Dallas, Texas *September 20th and 21st will feature Clapton’s Crossroad GuitarThe festival was held. In recent years, Clapton has been suffering from rheumatism, which has made it impossible for him to go on long tours with packed schedules. The day before, the American newspaper The Washington Post had just published an article about Clapton having difficulty playing the guitar due to nerve pain. Even under these circumstances, Clapton, who loves live performances, did not retire from touring, and while taking a reasonable period of rest, he has been performing on stage this year as well, fixing performances in Tokyo in April and London in May. . Furthermore, during their German performance in June, they were prepared to take on the burden of touring four cities to the delight of fans in regional cities. This September’s US performance will also be held in three cities, but instead of Los Angeles and New York, it will be held in a regional city. If that happens, it is natural that local fans would be excited because they would be able to see Clapton for the first time in a while. This edition also captures the scene where loud cheers and applause erupt from the venue at the moment Clapton’s play gets heated. The basic set list followed the German performance in June, but topics typical of Clapton were prepared. First, the drummer was replaced by his ally Steve Gadd from Sonny Emory. This was not a sudden change; when the annual performance schedule was announced this spring, it was already announced that Gadd would only be performing in the United States in September. Emory’s drumming was also strong and excited Clapton’s stage, but Gadd, who he has known since 1995, has supported Clapton’s stage for 24 years, and his drumming was as if it inspired Clapton to endure pain. It sounds like you are. I think you’ll enjoy the difference in the drummer from previous performances, even for the same song. And Circus Left Town was included in the setlist. Since that incident, Clapton has now played Tears in Heaven with a light reggae style arrangement, but how did he feel when he played this song now with the original arrangement? This song was played very sadly. And the return of Badge. Clapton makes a rare mistake in the intro. I guess my fingers were hurting. Still, the composition of the solo in the middle is as expected. Furthermore, the electric Layla is still alive and well. What’s more, here we have a dramatic structure in which the intro is played right at the end of the previous song, Little Queen of Spades. This is also good! This introduction seems to have been thorough in the band, and it can be seen that Gadd puts the drums in from the beginning of the intro. The vocal line and ending phrase have also been slightly changed, giving the song the feel of a live musician. For the encore, ally guitarist Jimmie Vaughan, who served as the opening act, will be joining in. Please enjoy watching the three guitarists including Doyle happily exchanging licks. The first solo is Vaughan, the second solo is Doyle, and the third solo is Clapton. Talking Stick Arena, Phoenix, Arizona, USA 14th September 2019 PERFECT SOUND Disc 1 (46:37) 1. Introduction 2.
