NEW VINYL LP ON A:LARM 2015
180 GRAM VINYL
“My mainly acoustic album from October 2003.
Notes was probably my rebellion against the pop machine Id suddenly become a part of in London. It was also an attempt to find myself after a few years living abroad getting all kinds of confusing outside influences.
It was meant to be a small below-the-radar release, but it went and became a great success. It received a Danish Music Award as Songwriter of the Year and the critics award, The Steppe Wolf, as Composer of the Year.
It happened at just the right time in my life reassuring me that I was on the right track. It told me that maybe all the pop-heads had it wrong when they told me how to sound and where to go.”
