Experience the ethereal soundscapes of Astrid Williamson with her 2015 release, We Go To Dream. Released on the prestigious One Little Indian label, this album marks a triumphant return for the singer-songwriter following her time touring and collaborating with the legendary Dead Can Dance.

We Go To Dream is a masterclass in musical versatility, blending diverse genres into a cohesive, meditative journey. Williamsons “effortless beauty” and expressive, whimsical vocals anchor an album that ranges from the elegance of Goldfrapp and 80s synthpop to the poetic intimacy of Leonard Cohen. Collaborating with James Orr, Williamson creates a shifting environment of reflective thought and dreamlike textures.

The album features a compelling variety of tracks, including:

• “Home”: A standout track that perfectly synthesizes the album’s diverse musical moods.
• “Hide in Your Heart”: A smooth demonstration of her vocal style set against laid-back electronics.
• “Say Goodbye”: A piece of insistent, polished pop.
• “Vermillion” & “Scattered”: Evocative soundscapes and emotional piano-led conversations.
• “Saint Saviour”: A simple, poignant piano song highlighting her vocal range.

This CD release is a must-have for fans of sophisticated indie-pop and atmospheric singer-songwriters, capturing an artist at the peak of her experimental and vocal powers.
