The fourth installment of Queen’s ultimate album thorough research series “Expanded Collector’s Edition”, “A Night at the Opera”, is now available as a special set of 2 CDs and DVDs! This work boasts an overwhelming level of perfection, including the timeless masterpiece single “Bohemian Rhapsody,” which became their first number one in the UK, became a million-seller in the United States, and earned them the status of global superstars in both name and reality. “A Night at the Opera” is Queen’s representative album. This is the latest edited collector’s edition that includes rare sound sources, multi-track audio, and related videos of the historical masterpiece. The CD includes a “Complete Album Remix & Remaster” and an “Alternate Album” in which all songs from the album have been carefully edited and restored, as well as numerous alternate versions and multi-track remixes of songs from the album, valuable demo sound sources, etc. Contains rare sound sources including first appearance and upgraded sound sources on 2 CDs. The DVD includes lyric videos for all songs, remastered stereo, 5.1 surround mix, instrumental karaoke tracks, vocal main tracks, and 4 different multi-audio selections that you can listen to and compare. In addition to the “audio album” that can be created and the “complete video album” that is a video version of all the songs on the album, a “video collection” that includes different versions of “Bohemian Rhapsody” is included. [Collector’s Point] The first half of CD 1 includes the latest edited remixes and remasters of all songs on the album as a “Complete Album Remix and Remaster.” You can enjoy a mix with different stereo separation and balance compared to the original. The second half is called “Alternate Versions and Remasters 1” which includes alternate versions, multi-track remixes, demo sound sources, etc. Contains valuable studio outtakes of “Bohemian Rhapsody” as well as Brian’s acoustic solo. In the first half of CD2, all songs from the album are reproduced as alternate mixes as “Complete Album Reconstructions.” Unlike CD1’s “Remix and Remaster”, this one includes a naked mix in which the multitrack has been dismantled and the number of sounds has been reduced. It can be said that it is an interesting sound source that can be enjoyed as if listening to the studio master of each song separately, which was created using 24 tracks. And the second half covers even more rare sound sources as Alternate Version and Remasters 2. Contains rare demo recordings of “Prophet’s Song” and “Love of My Life” as well as single versions not included in the album. As before, the DVD is an audio album with lyric videos that play the lyrics of all songs in real time, a remastered stereo with multi-audio selection, a 5.1 surround mix, instrumental tracks, and vocal main tracks. Recorded with 4 different audio options that you can listen to and compare. In addition to maniac listening comparisons to verify the sound source, you can also play the instrumental tracks and enjoy karaoke along with the video, or check the songs and choruses with the vocal main tracks that have Freddie’s vocals as the main track and the performance is suppressed. All songs can be played with 4 different sound sources. The “Complete Video Album” is a complete recording of the video versions of all songs on the album produced for the 30th anniversary in 2005, replaced with new stereo remasters. Furthermore, the “Video Collection” includes videos of different versions of “Bohemian Rhapsody” such as the original master and the BBC broadcast version. This is the latest work in the “Ultimate Album Thorough Research” series, recommended for everyone from beginners to enthusiasts, covering sound sources and videos related to the historical masterpiece “A Night at the Opera.” CD1= COMPLETE ALBUM REMIX AND REMASTERS (2020) 1.
